A 500 TPD chlor-alkali plant expansion required a complete brine purification system handling saturated NaCl brine, dilute HCl, and NaOH at varying temperatures. Each vessel faced a different corrosion profile, requiring multiple lining materials across a single project.
Jasmino provided end-to-end engineering, manufacturing 12 vessels across carbon steel and FRP construction, with three different lining systems selected per vessel based on service chemistry — PVDF for caustic, HDPE for acid, and natural rubber for brine.
Detailed corrosion assessment for each vessel service. PVDF sheet lining for hot caustic vessels, HDPE for dilute acid, and natural rubber for saturated brine — ensuring optimal life-cycle cost across the battery.
All 12 vessels designed to common nozzle orientations and support structures, enabling parallel fabrication and fast site installation with a single crane mobilisation.
Holiday testing at 15kV per layer on all lined vessels. Third-party inspection by TÜV for pressure-rated equipment. Full material traceability from rubber compound through to finished vessel.
Phased delivery across 3 shipments, coordinated with the client's civil construction schedule. Final vessel delivered 3 weeks ahead of contractual deadline.
