Over 50 years.One conviction.

The company that designs the equipment should also build it, protect it, and stand by it. From a single rubber processing unit in Mumbai to manufacturing facilities across India, Germany, and Saudi Arabia — the integration model has been the through-line for half a century.

The Founding Idea

We did not set out to build a conglomerate.
We set out to fix a problem.

In the early 1980s, the industrial equipment supply chain was fragmented in exactly the way it still is for most plants today. Design firms handed off drawings they would never build. Fabricators welded steel they had not engineered. Lining contractors coated surfaces they did not understand. Every handoff was a failure point.

Jasmino was founded on the conviction that one company — with deep expertise in engineering, fabrication, and surface protection — could do it better. Not by being bigger. By being more integrated.

The person who designs the equipment should stand next to the person who builds it — and the person who protects it.

Integration isn’t a marketing claim. It’s how we eliminated the gaps where projects fail. When the designer stands next to the fabricator, decisions are better. When the lining contractor is in the same building, nothing gets lost in translation.

Four Decades
Early 1980s

Founded in Mumbai

Jasmino is founded in Andheri East, Mumbai by Ramani Seshadri — a technologist in plastics and rubber — as a modest unit manufacturing critical moulded and extruded rubber components. The focus quickly expands into rubber-based linings for corrosion protection, and from there into the full range of anti-corrosive linings and coatings. Rubber lining remains the company's core competence to this day.

Taloja: The Integrated Factory

Jasmino Polymertech is founded with a 2,800 m² facility in Taloja, Navi Mumbai — purpose-built around a single thesis: equipment manufacturing and surface protection under one roof. Leading engineering companies across India quickly recognise the model. The Taloja site becomes known as the shop-floor partner that does not need a second vendor.

Building Through the Downturn

Through the 2008 recession and the years of uncertainty that followed, Jasmino expanded the Taloja shop floor to 8,400 m² and invested in more sophisticated machinery, operational systems, and certifications including ISO 9001 and OSHA 14001. The recession years became the proving ground for the integrated model.

Second Generation

Adheesh Ramani — a chemical engineer trained in Australia — enters the family business with a strategic mandate: take the integrated model international. The company sharpens its focus on global growth and begins the build-out that defines the next decade.

International Expansion

Average CAGR above 50% over four years. International project wins multiply across the Middle East, Europe, Bangladesh, and Australia. The integrated model — engineered in India, applied in 15+ countries — proves itself at scale.

The German Acquisition

Jasmino Corporation acquires HAW Linings (Germany) and GBT Bücolit (Germany) — adding decades of European corrosion protection expertise to Indian engineering and manufacturing scale. The acquisition makes Jasmino one of the largest surface protection businesses in the world, and confirms its position as the third-largest player globally in chemical process equipment engineering and corrosion protection combined.

The Middle East Expansion

Jasmino Corporation establishes HAW-Al-Suhaimi in Saudi Arabia as a joint venture with the Al-Suhaimi Group — cementing the Group's presence in the Gulf. In parallel, HAW Turkey opens to serve the Turkish market and the wider Middle East. Both new entities operate their own manufacturing facilities, forming the operational base for Jasmino's expansion into the region's highest-growth markets.

Integrating Technology

Building on the integrated model, Jasmino moves into process technology. The Group establishes strategic partnerships across four process technology areas — evaporation and zero liquid discharge (ZLD), compressed biogas (CBG), oil and gas process packages, and plastic-to-fuel pyrolysis through a joint venture with Numatter. The four-division engineering and manufacturing base now sits alongside a growing portfolio of licensed and co-developed process technologies, broadening Jasmino's role from equipment supplier to integrated process-technology partner.

What Drives Us
Design for fabrication.
Every engineering decision is made with manufacturing constraints in mind. The drawing is not done until the shop floor confirms it is buildable.
Protect from day one.
Surface protection is not an afterthought. Lining requirements inform steel selection, weld prep, and surface finish from the first specification.
Own the outcome.
One company, one contract, one point of accountability. When something needs to be made right, there is no one else to escalate to — and that is exactly how we want it.
